Remember those wonderful Todo folders I showed you?! Well look where they showed up!!!Plaid Community! These are the people who make Mod Podge as well as lots of other cool crafting supplies. We sealed those puppies in Mod Podge, so we were able to be featured on their site! How fun!! Make sure and check it out and have a great night.

I was trying to make business cards. Photoshop can often be frustrating, meaning I did not quite make business cards. I did, however, make this.


Pretty, huh? I promise I will keep working on the business cards, however. Until then, nifty pin cushion picture!

Organization

~Quilters lead pieceful lives~

Okay, so maybe this doesn't look organized(thought it does look fun!), but these little fellas are for organizing! These are the Todo folders I told you about!

Some of you are saying... a what? A Todo! They are wonderful books that we have created for your quilting pattern storage needs. They have sewn covers in many designs(the link above leads to a ruffle one!) and come with scrapbooked dividers to really get those patterns in order. Well, here are the dividers!

One for Quilts,

for Baby Quilts,
for Table Runners,Wall Hangings,
and one for all those extra, random patterns!
All 250 of these adorable critters were created by Miss Presley Myers, our local Modge Podge addict. She's also a pretty darn good scrapbooker, so these were right up her alley. One of these days we'll have to get that girl sewing!

Each of these folders, as I said, were made by Presley, and, thus, all the titles are handwritten by her. She also took the time to make a stitch effect on each title name plate, and we used only the finest of adorable scrapbook paper! They're just fun!

Well everyone I just got home for a catering about 20 minutes ago and I am pretty pooped! Have a nice night all!

Desktop inspiration

~A bed without a quilt is like a sky without stars~

I am a bric-a-brac, knick-knack person. I like little goodies and they often inspire me. Thus, I crowd my desk with them while I am working! I have my favorite colored threads, some of my most loved books, my favorite pictures, and touching gifts given to me by friends and family.

Oh, and I also have two large Scrappy Balls of Goodness!

Aren't they just fun! Who wouldn't want to work with those little fellas for inspiration?

As all "good" quilters know, you must cut off your selvage as well as level up your fabric, which leaves a lot of long, very thin, fabric strings. These Scrappy Balls are made up of all of those so-called "useless" fabric scraps. And once they are all tied into lovely Scrappy Balls, they can be knit or crocheted into TONS of different projects!

They make take HOURS to tie all the scraps together, but I think it's well worth it! :)

Well, anyway my friends, I am going to settle down to do some quilt designing! Thanks goodness I have these Scrappy Balls to keep me happy! Goodnight all!

Status Update

~Love is the thread that binds us~

I know that it may seem as though I have abandoned you, but I promise, I have just been BUSY! As have the other Treasured Times gals! And guys, for that matter!

But, as you can see by Nichole's work space, we are cruising along! We are talking with fabric reps, getting in shipments, creating our wares, cleaning out our sewing space for lessons and kits sales. In other words-- WORKING! :) I just need to remember to ah, well, document our work so I can share with everyone else. So, although this is all that I have to share with you for now, I promise fun things are on the horizon, such as :

• Scrap balls!
• LOTS of Todo folders
• Our wonderful new fabric
• Some more awesome fancy potholders

See, lots of fun stuff! Well I am off to recoup some more(I passed out during a blood draw today, stinky, huh?), Nichole is in Korea right now(a layover) and will be in the Philapeans probably tomorrow, and Peggy is working on our sewing area.
